Mission Arlington 2014: Day Two!

The team started the day at MA with worship and prayer. Their service project today was to pick up garbage and invite residents at the complex they were having rainbow express this afternoon.

Rainbow express went really well. They had 27 kids show up! Jacob led large group.  Jacob, Greg and Dustin led small group with the boys. Hannah led small group with the girls. Sarah, McKenna and Morgan taught the memory verse for today. And of course, the boys led games (Brett, Greg and Jacob). Today's story was of John following Jesus to become fishers of men. The memory verse was 1 Peter 2:21.
And Paige sent me this pic of their youngest attendee, who blew bubbles all day. ;-)
Special thanks to Jennifer for providing all the pictures and play by plays! Oh and the Stone sisters have been reunited too!

Please pray for extra energy tomorrow after a long and hot two days. Also pray that the kids return and the gospel really begins to penetrate their hearts. Pray for our team to continue to be courageous and step way outside their comfort zone.
