Closing Day is underway!
Well, we didn't win the B-B-B-BOAT RACE, but had fun regardless.
We had some students accept Jesus last night!!! Praise the Lord for new sisters in Christ!
We also have one student who is feeling called to ministry!
Exciting things happening around here people. We have loaded up the vans (terribly early!) and are about to head to closing activities. Then we will hit the road. Pray for safety and alertness for some very tired drivers. Also be praying for our youth to really use this week and the things they have learned as a jumping off point in their pursuit of Jesus, and not let it just be a cool thing they did.
We will see you guys soon!

Whole lotta crying going on...
Let's just say, our group was feeling the love last night. If you had walked into our church checkpoint time, what would you have seen? TEARS and lots of them! I am not sure there was a dry seat in the room, including our tough guys.
The message last night seemed to really hit home with our students. It mainly focused on the truth that God Sends us. We are all called to be missionaries in our everyday lives. Our students were encouraged to realize what their passion is and what the unique burden God has given them is. Then they need to use their passion to minister to their burden. That is the beyond effect! I am sure some of you have heard them talk about it before, and you will probably hear more of that this summer. Please pray for them to follow thru and take some action. Many of our kids are really feeling a conviction that they too often are just going thru the motions, or are "playing church". Pray for them to step up and begin living out their faith daily.
Camp is always a great unifier for our group, and we are seeing that again this year. It is an opportunity for the different groups to come together on common ground and realize that we are the family of God. These are their brothers and sisters, and here they are accepted and welcomed. Pray for this unity to continue on and grow deeper.
Pray for us chaperones as we follow up with our students about what God is teaching them.
Also, Becca & Hannah performed at Stage Night (the talent show here) last night and did great. We are proud of them for facing their fears and performing in front of the crowd!
Again church family- we want to THANK YOU for giving and praying to make this trip possible. Camp is one of the biggest impacts we have all year. It is a great jolt to get our students attention so we can invest and develop their faith all year. And that would not be possible without the sacrifices of so many of our church members. Thank you. You are a part of the fruit we are seeing here.
