Saul's Unforgettable Field Trip

Acts 9: 1-31
Saul was going to Damascus, saw a bright/blinding light, heard Jesus talk to him. Jesus said, "Saul Saul why are persecuting me?" Saul was blinded. Ananias was obedient. Saul was Baptized and regained his sight. Saul then immediately begins proclaiming the gospel.

Before Saul encountered Jesus he was persecuting Christians.
Encountering Jesus changes everything.
Have you encountered Jesus? Have you been transformed? How?

Barnabas means Son of Encouragement.
He accepted Saul and stood up for him. He brought Saul to the other disciples.  The other disciples were still afraid of Saul, but Barnabas explained to the disciples what has happened to Saul and how we was changed.

How can you be a Barnabas?
How can you accept others?
Who is an outsider that you need to befriend?
